Job Summary
Grtexp is seeking an energetic, self-motivated Traveling Leasing Agent to support leasing efforts across multiple apartment communities. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, varied environment and enjoys building relationships with prospective residents at different properties throughout the week. The Traveling Leasing Agent will provide leasing coverage where it's needed most, ensuring every site maintains strong occupancy and a great prospect experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct property tours and leasing presentations for prospective residents at assigned communities, adjusting daily based on staffing needs and traffic.
- Process rental applications, screen applicants, and prepare lease agreements in accordance with company policy and fair housing guidelines.
- Follow up with prospects and leads promptly, including phone, email, and walk-in inquiries.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in the leasing/property management system across all sites worked.
- Help meet or exceed leasing goals and occupancy targets at each community.
- Support move-in coordination, including verifying required documents (e.g., renter's insurance, utility setup) are complete before move-in.
- Communicate regularly with property managers and the leasing team to stay aligned on each site's priorities, promotions, and availability.
- Represent the community and brand professionally, maintaining a courteous and knowledgeable presence for prospects and residents alike.
Qualifications
- Prior leasing, sales, or customer service experience preferred (property management experience a plus).
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel daily between properties.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to quickly build rapport.
- Comfortable learning and using leasing/property management software.
- Highly organized, adaptable, and able to manage shifting priorities across sites.
- Knowledge of fair housing laws and leasing best practices preferred.
- Schedule: [Full-time / Part-time], including some weekend availability as needed for tours and leasing events.
