This is an exciting opportunity to join our supportive and dynamic team at Oakfield as a Learning Support Assistant/Escort, supporting pupils both in school and while travelling safely on the school minibuses.
Key Responsibilities:
This is a varied and rewarding role where you will:
Support safe travel: Escort pupils with SEMH and SEN needs to and from school on minibuses, ensuring their safety and wellbeing
Work within the classroom: Support teaching staff to deliver engaging and inclusive learning
Promote inclusion: Help pupils access learning through tailored support and interventions
Provide 1:1 support: Work closely with individual pupils to support progress and wellbeing
Support behaviour and wellbeing: Help pupils regulate emotions using positive strategies and guidance
Contribute to a therapeutic environment: Support holistic development across the curriculum
Assist with resources and activities: Prepare materials and support structured play and social learning

Undertake a Level 5 apprenticeship qualification
