Responsibilities
- Provide teaching session in blackboard LMS.
- Provide functional and academic support for the current Learning Management System (LMS) Blackboard Ultra Learn.
- Participate in the research of other emerging Learning Management Systems such as Canvas, Google Classroom and others.
- Work with UKB instructional designers and faculty by providing support and training for educational technologies and integration.
- Collaborate with UKB units to develop and manage strategies for successful implementation of new educational technologies.
- Assist and support UKB with faculty integration of instructional technology for teaching and learning in the classroom.
- Develop training materials including videos, and other resources for educational technologies, for faculty use.
- Assist and support UKB to design and facilitate professional development programs and orientations designed for faculty.
- Research and evaluate emerging instructional technologies and methods.
- Conduct small group and 1:1 instructional support and education for LMS
- Collaborate with IT support teams to resolve complex technical issues
- Develop and maintain documentation on using Blackboard Ultra for various user roles
- Monitor system updates and apply patches as necessary to ensure the stability and performance of Blackboard Ultra
- Participate in testing new features and providing feedback to improve the system
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Instructional Technology or related field.
- At least, 5 Years’ Experience in Related Field
- Experience with Blackboard Ultra Learn and other LMSs.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Ability to convey technical information to technical and non-technical users.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships; Ability to work collaboratively as well as independently.
