We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Curriculum Coordinator to support the planning, delivery, quality assurance, and continuous improvement of adult Modern Foreign Languages programmes.
The successful candidate will coordinate a curriculum that promotes wellbeing, confidence and development of skills through foreign language learning.
The role combines programme coordination, line management and teaching responsibilities.
The postholder will design and deliver high-quality learning sessions, develop engaging teaching resources, support learners to progress, and create inclusive learning environments that encourage participation and achievement.
The coordinator has line management responsibility for Tutors and reports to the curriculum Programme Manager.
Working closely with learners, colleagues, community and partners across LCC the curriculum coordinator will develop learning opportunities, support promotional activities and maintain accurate learner and line management records.
They will also take responsibility for staff development, quality assurance activities, including class visits, internal verification of accredited and non-accredited courses and participate in cross curricula Go Out and Learn (GOAL) activities.
The ideal candidate will have strong organisational, line management, teaching and communication skills, together with a commitment to adult and language learning.
An enhanced with barred list DBS check is required for this post.

Work Location: This role covers all of Leicestershire and travel to different venues around the county will be required, office base to be negotiated and confirmed during recruitment
Salary: £36,621 - £40,458 per annum (pro rata for part time)
18.5 hours per week
Contract Type: Fixed term for 11 months
