Team and Role
The Hardware Engineering Product Compliance Team develops compliance strategies, manages testing, handles certifications, and mitigates risks from design through product launch.
The role leads the EMC, safety, and ODVT teams while working closely with engineering and manufacturing groups.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage more than 10 engineers working on EMC design and testing, safety compliance, regulatory compliance, and hardware validation.
- Oversee hardware validation and compliance programs, including planning, execution, delivery, and regulatory adherence.
- Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to meet safety, EMC, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage resources, timelines, risks, regulatory contacts, hiring, and laboratory capability expansion.
- Drive improvements in testing, validation, compliance strategy, and team technical excellence.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical field.
- At least 3 years of experience leading engineering teams, specifically hardware validation teams.
- Knowledge of EMC and safety standards, including FCC, CE, CISPR, and IEC requirements.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
