Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Senior Unix & Linux Infrastructure Administrator with 12+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise server administration, infrastructure operations, virtualization, storage, automation, patching, and production support.
The candidate will be responsible for managing and supporting large-scale Linux and Unix server environments , ensuring high availability, performance, security, and operational stability. The role requires strong troubleshooting skills, ownership of critical infrastructure, and the ability to lead complex technical activities and infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and support enterprise Linux and Unix environments across production and non-production infrastructure.
- Perform installation, configuration, hardening, patching, upgrades, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management of Linux/Unix servers.
- Provide advanced administration for Oracle Linux, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), CentOS and Solaris environments.
- Troubleshoot complex OS, kernel, filesystem, networking, performance, boot, package, and service-related issues.
- Manage server provisioning, decommissioning, migration, and infrastructure consolidation activities.
- Perform OS upgrades, kernel upgrades, security remediation, vulnerability remediation, and configuration management.
