The Opportunity
Lead all on-site activities for project execution in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, schedule, and safety requirements.
Cover start-up, construction, erection, commissioning, and maintenance phases.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Plan site activities with the project manager, including local resources, equipment, and milestones.
- Perform hands-on testing and lead testing and commissioning activities with clients and consultants.
- Test switchgear, protection relays, circuit breakers, CTs, VTs, auxiliary relays, interlocks, and protection schemes.
- Plan ITC schedules and prepare weekly and monthly witness schedules against the baseline program.
- Coordinate customers, external resources, authorities, suppliers, subcontractors, and site organizations.
- Ensure site health and safety plans, training, equipment handling, documentation, and regulatory compliance are maintained.
- Monitor site costs, petty cash, local purchasing, subcontractor performance, quality, and progress through handover.
Your Background
- Bachelor's degree in electrical power, electronics, or communications engineering.
- At least 10 years of project experience in related fields.
- TAQA and other utilities approval or competency is mandatory.
- Hands-on testing and commissioning experience with switchgear, protection relays, and protection schemes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and planning skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and communicate with people at all levels.
- Proven leadership and communication skills.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
