Position Overview
Burns & McDonnell India is seeking a Lead Structural Engineer for its Transmission and Distribution Pipelines engineering and design team.
The role supports pipeline, RNG, measurement and regulation, and compressor station projects from the Mumbai or Bangalore office.
The position leads structural engineering work and may influence the growth of the Pipeline and Facilities group.
Responsibilities
- Lead engineers and designers on M&R, compressor station, and RNG plant EPC projects.
- Provide leadership, training, and mentoring to less experienced team members.
- Support structural design from conceptual through detailed design phases.
- Analyze and design steel structures and foundations for T&D pipeline projects.
- Prepare specifications, details, and calculations for pipe racks, supports, technical structures, and foundations.
- Review vendor drawings and coordinate with suppliers, clients, stakeholders, and other disciplines.
- Perform production drawing and project data quality reviews and ensure QA/QC adherence.
- Develop and improve processes, tools, and standards.
