Role overview
WSP is seeking a highly experienced structural engineering professional to join its team in Saudi Arabia.
The role leads the design, retrofit, and delivery of major airport and aviation infrastructure projects across the Kingdom.
The position covers airport terminals, aviation facilities, steel structure assessments and retrofits, bridge design coordination, and complex infrastructure delivery in operational aviation environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead structural design and delivery across all project stages.
- Provide technical leadership for terminals, concourses, support facilities, and landside and airside structures.
- Manage multidisciplinary design coordination and stakeholder interfaces.
- Oversee structural calculations, reports, specifications, and design documentation.
- Ensure compliance with project requirements, codes, standards, and quality procedures.
- Support planning, resource allocation, and programme delivery.
- Guide and mentor junior and intermediate structural engineers.
- Participate in design reviews, value engineering exercises, and technical workshops.
- Work with project directors and discipline leaders on project delivery.
- Support technical proposals, bids, and client presentations when required.
