Overview At Gallagher’s Centre of Excellence, you’ll help improve the quality of data used across our operational systems. Your work will support Master Data Management and Data Quality as new digital tools are introduced for teams around the world. You’ll help turn data into clear decisions, improve day to day processes, and build data quality practices that last. You’ll also have room to ask questions, learn from others, and share ideas in a team that values curiosity, teamwork and doing the right thing. How you'll make an impact Role responsibilities Here are the main responsibilities for the Data Analyst role: Analyse large and complex datasets using tools such as SQL, SAS and Python. Profile data to understand quality, completeness and fit for business needs. Identify gaps in data and help create plans to fix them. Carry out root cause analysis to find why data issues are happening. Support data enrichment and data remediation work across operational systems. Help improve data quality processes so they’re reliable and sustainable over time. Define data requirements with business stakeholders and translate them into practical data work. Identify key metrics and useful data sources to support reporting and decision-making. Turn analysis into clear insights and recommendations that help the business act. Work with business owners to spot opportunities linked to revenue and customer engagement. Influence product and business teams by recommending actions based on data. Partner with business analysts, data engineers and other stakeholders to deliver solutions. Document technical attributes, business definitions and data lineage. Manage metadata in Collibra or a similar metadata management tool. Support Master Data Management and Data Quality priorities. Help the business scale new digital tools used by teams globally. Follow data privacy and security requirements, including good practice for handling sensitive information. Support Agile ways of working, including user story grooming, sprint planning, development and user acceptance. Take on other reasonable duties as needed. About you Qualifications: University Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience, or equivalent experience.
