Role Overview
Lead software engineering role within JPMorganChase Commercial & Investment Bank Digital Post Trade Technology.
Work as an integral technical contributor on an agile team delivering secure, stable, and scalable technology products.
Job Responsibilities
- Execute software design, development, technical troubleshooting, and solution delivery across multiple technical areas.
- Develop secure production code and review and debug code written by others.
- Automate recurring issue remediation to improve operational stability.
- Lead technical evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams.
- Lead software engineering communities of practice promoting emerging technologies.
- Drive authorized AI-assisted engineering adoption with validation for security, correctness, and performance.
- Apply software development lifecycle tools and authorized AI-assisted automation capabilities.
- Support a culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Formal degree or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
- Hands-on system design, application development, testing, and operational stability experience.
- Advanced Java and Spring Boot development experience.
