Role Overview
Lead Site Reliability Engineer within the Infrastructure Platforms team at JPMorganChase.
Hold a leadership role, advise on technical and business issues, and provide mentoring to other engineers.
Lead resiliency design reviews, decompose complex problems, and act as technical lead for medium- to large-sized products.
Responsibilities
- Own reliability outcomes for mission-critical network services, including availability, performance, and recoverability.
- Lead major incident response, technical mitigation, responder coaching, and post-incident learning.
- Own problem management, root cause analyses, systemic remediation, and prevention of repeat incidents.
- Architect Python, Shell, and Ansible automation for remediation, validation, self-healing, and standardized tooling.
- Provide technical leadership across SD-WAN, software-defined networking, routing, switching, firewalls, load balancers, and proxies.
- Improve observability and embed SRE practices into design, delivery, readiness reviews, resilience testing, and change safety.
- Drive AI-assisted reliability workflows across SDLC and toolchain practices with traceability, auditability, resiliency, and security controls.
- Use authorized AI capabilities for incident triage and post-incident analysis while validating outputs and protecting sensitive data.
