About the Role
Mawarid Holding Investment is hiring a Lead Quantity Surveyor to lead the QS function for landscaping and construction projects in Abu Dhabi. The role involves BOQ preparation, tendering, valuations, final accounts, and team supervision.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and review BOQs, cost estimates, and tender documentation for landscaping, softscape, and hardscape works
- Manage interim valuations, payment certificates, and variation claims
- Lead final account preparation and close out across projects
- Supervise and manage the QS team, allocating workload, reviewing output, and ensuring consistency
- Develop and implement standardized QS processes, templates, and procedures
- Prepare consolidated QS reports for senior management covering measurement status, valuation progress, variations, and commercial risks
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors on all commercial matters
- Support procurement with quantity and measurement input for materials and subcontracted works
- Mentor and develop junior QS staff, building team capability over time
Requirements
- Minimum 10–15 years of relevant QS experience, ideally within landscaping, infrastructure, or general construction
- UAE experience is mandatory
- Proven experience in a team leadership or supervisory QS role
- Strong knowledge of BOQ structuring, measurement, and contract administration (FIDIC preferred)
- Advanced proficiency in Excel; familiarity with QS/ERP systems is an advantage
- Strong analytical, organizational, and stakeholder management skills
- Candidates pursuing or holding RICS membership (MRICS or actively working toward chartership) preferred
- Availability to join at short notice
