Manages the Project Controls team ensuring execution of the Cost Control functions:
Supports Project team during Front End Loading project phase; including but not limited to budget setup, following standard WBS and cost code structure.
Forecasts and analyzes trends, develops estimates to complete costs, and analyzes commitments.
Provides Cost Variance Analyses ~ variance to budget, variance to prior forecast.
Provides Earned Value Analysis ~ tracking progress, measuring performance.
Utilizes Cash Flow Models and cash flow analysis preparation.
Supports Change Management, including notifications, tracking and analyzing project changes to budget and scope, facilitating the change management process.
Supports Subcontractor Change Management by reviewing subcontractor changes and assessing overall budget and forecast impact.
Provides Risk & Opportunity Analysis to assess and evaluate project risk/opportunities at the funding stage and throughout the project lifecycle, compiling data and risk analyses.
Audits projects on a weekly basis, to identify additional risks and overspends by activity code.
Manages the Project Controls team ensuring administration of Contracts:
Demonstrates extensive knowledge of prime contracts and subcontracts and identifies all gaps, risks, opportunities, and deliverables.
Ensures adherence to terms of contract, including but not limited to impact notification timing.
Resolves issues with contracts and subcontracts.
Maintains a full understanding of all contractual obligations and ensures executed agreements and contracts are in place.
Produces change orders packages and liaises with the counterpart in the client organization to ensure the client processes and approves change orders.
Reviews subcontractor progress and performance and supporting payment applications.
Manages the Project Controls team ensuring proper support to Project Manager throughout the reporting process:
Collects data necessary for daily/weekly/monthly/yearly work completed.
Participates in daily and weekly status and progress reports of construction on site.
Creates the weekly and monthly Project Cost reports and presents them alongside the PM.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Construction Management, Accounting, or 8 years of related experience required.
7 or more years of Project Controls/Commercial Manager experience in construction environment required.
1 or more years of supervisory/lead experience preferred.
Ability to travel domestically 31 to 50%.
Must possess a valid Driver’s license.
Strong demonstrated leadership and collaboration skills, including the ability to present to senior leadership.
Working understanding Safety and OSHA requirements.
