Establish and oversee the implementation of Project Controls & Analysis (PC&A) strategies, plans, controls, processes, methodologies and systems
Provide leadership and operational management of PC&A resources
Lead, coach and mentor team members to develop capability and performance
Review and analyse PC&A data and reports to support Project and Study Leadership in delivering projects safely, on time and within budget
Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance capital efficiency and project productivity
Provide PC&A expertise to support value improvement opportunities
Lead assurance activities to ensure PC&A deliverables are executed to a high standard
Collaborate with Contracts and Procurement teams to ensure PC&A requirements are embedded in contracts and key interfaces are effectively managed
Partner with Portfolio and Finance teams to ensure accurate reporting of project information
Support estimate development through collaboration with Estimating teams
Coach Study and Delivery Managers and Leads in the effective application of PC&A processes and tools
Support business planning and governance requirements, including capital prioritisation and portfolio planning activities
Extensive practical experience in project environments across both study and delivery phases of large-scale greenfield and brownfield projects within the resources, mining, infrastructure, or related industries
Experience working within both Owner and Contractor Project Controls & Analysis teams
Demonstrated experience with project management systems, tools and techniques
Proven experience leading and developing high-performing teams
Strong ability to engage and communicate effectively across project and business functions
Ability to implement fit-for-purpose Project Controls & Analysis processes across a range of projects
Experience assessing contractor data and coordinating project reporting and status updates
Commitment to quality, governance and continuous improvement
Strong negotiation and influencing skills
Ability to translate business strategy into practical project outcomes
Experience leveraging AI and advanced analytics to enhance reporting, automation, data quality and project insights
Undergraduate qualification in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Business (Finance or Accounting) or a related discipline
Project Management qualifications will be highly regarded
