Role overview
Eaton is hiring a Lead Power Systems Engineer for its Power Systems Engineering group.
The role provides applied engineering expertise to customers across power systems studies, power quality analysis, substation design, and training.
Available locations
- The position may be based at Eaton locations in Ontario, Alberta, Laval, Moncton, Dartmouth, Delta, or Winnipeg.
Compensation
- The expected annual salary range is $93,000 to $117,000, with eligibility for overtime compensation.
Key responsibilities
- Provide consultation for power systems studies, design, installation, startup, maintenance, repair, and training.
- Manage project scope and costs, interpret customer requirements, and prepare technical proposals and pricing.
- Develop equipment design, upgrade, testing, safety, reliability, and efficiency solutions.
- Perform engineering design and troubleshoot power distribution equipment.
- Mentor or lead engineers, review and stamp their work, and deliver specialized customer training.
