- We’re seeking a proactive and skilled Lead Operator Logistics to join our dynamic chemical manufacturing site in Bradford. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll be the senior operator on shift, guiding operations, supporting your team, and ensuring safety and efficiency in a high-hazard environment. You’ll play a central role in driving operational excellence.
What You’ll Do
Lead shift operations, ensuring production targets, safety standards, and quality requirements are consistently met.
Act as Incident Controller, Main Controller, or Liaison Officer under the Site Emergency Plan.
Issue permits (Hot Work/General), conduct hazard assessments, and enforce EHS policies.
Mentor operators, support on-the-job training, and promote knowledge sharing.
Respond to alarms and troubleshoot plant/process issues in real-time.
Coordinate product flow, stock allocation, vehicle movements, and warehouse interface.
