Role Overview
The employer is seeking a Lead Mobile Developer to own the direction, architecture, and delivery of mobile SDKs and applications across iOS and Android.
The role is hybrid with an Abu Dhabi office base and focuses on mission-critical authentication technology used by banks and financial institutions.
This is a hands-on technical leadership role where correctness, performance, and security support fraud prevention in live financial transactions.
The Role
- Lead architecture, design, and delivery of a high-performance mobile SDK used inside tier-one banking applications.
- Set engineering standards, guide native versus cross-platform tooling decisions, and improve mobile quality.
- Mentor and manage a small team of mobile engineers.
- Own the lifecycle from design and development through testing, release, and monitoring.
- Integrate with backend identity and fraud-detection APIs using REST/JSON, OAuth, and SAML.
- Work with product and design to create secure, low-friction user journeys.
- Champion CI/CD, automation, and mobile security best practices.
- Track iOS and Android operating-system changes, mobile security trends, and identity-technology developments.
