Role Overview

A Norwegian-owned technology group operating across Norway, the Netherlands, Singapore, Denmark, and the UAE is appointing its first dedicated Financial Controller.

The Financial Controller reports to the Group CFO and owns consolidation, close, audit, and statutory reporting across the group.

What You'll Own

Manage multi-entity, multi-currency consolidation in NOK and USD, including intercompany elimination and acquisition accounting.
Own month-end and year-end close, balance sheet integrity, and revenue recognition for a subscription software business.
Own external audits and statutory filings across Norway, the Netherlands, and Singapore.
Prepare management reporting, budgeting, reforecasting, SaaS metrics including ARR and NRR/GRR, and cash flow reporting.

What You'll Need

Qualified accountant with CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent qualification.
Five to eight or more years of post-qualification experience and at least three years in a controller or group accountant ownership role.
Hands-on experience building or running multi-entity, multi-currency consolidation.
Strong IFRS command and personal ownership of a month-end close.
Big Four or equivalent experience would be beneficial.
Advanced QuickBooks experience, ideally as an operator.
Ability to work proactively, professionally, and accurately in a remote setting is essential.
Nordic, Singapore, or Netherlands statutory exposure is strongly preferred.
