About the Role
CSCEC Middle East is seeking a Lead Mechanical Engineer to oversee all mechanical works at the Head Office in Dubai. The role requires thorough knowledge of HVAC and engineering techniques, leading a team, ensuring quality and compliance, and providing technical support.

Responsibilities
- Study and review tender drawings/specifications and raise RFIs if required
- Lead and support the engineering team
- Ensure quality of engineering in discipline and compliance with project processes
- Prepare and review design solutions complying with client requirements and standards
- Maintain effective working relationships with other authorities/disciplines
- Provide technical support for the Procurement Department and assist with supplier offers
- Liaise with local authorities for approval of mechanical service drawings and inspections

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 15+ years of relevant work experience in construction projects

Position Summary
- Position requires thorough knowledge of HVAC and engineering techniques.
- In charge for overseeing all Mechanical works.
- Complete responsibility to decide on day to day work carried out by subordinates.
Responsibilities
- Study and review the Tender drawings / specification and raise RFI, if required.
- Responsible for the leadership and support of the team.
- Ensure Quality of Engineering in discipline and compliance with the appropriate project process.
- Ensure the preparation and review of design solutions, which fully comply with all applicable design / Client requirements, with Design Standards, Codes of Practice and good engineering principles to agreed time, cost and quality requirements.
- Maintain effective working relationships with other authorities/disciplines.
- Provide technical support for the Procurement Department, and assist for the offers received from suppliers.
- Liaise with local authorities for the approval of Mechanical service drawings & inspections.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering.
- 15+ Years' of relevant work experience in Construction projects.
