Lead Java Full Stack Engineer (Hybrid)

Role Overview

Work Model

• This is a hybrid position requiring three days per week in a client or Cognizant office in Irving, Texas.
• Some roles may require in-person interviews at Cognizant offices or client locations depending on project or client needs.

Core Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on Java and Spring Boot development for assigned stories.
• Conduct unit and integration testing using JUnit.
• Use DevOps tools and CI/CD software, apply Agile methods, and manage Git branches and releases.
• Design and implement microservices and containerized applications end to end.
• Develop APIs using GraphQL or REST and integrate applications with Ping Federation and Apigee.
• Create UML diagrams using Visio or draw.io.

Required Experience

• At least 10 years of experience using Java, Spring Boot, and SQL.
• At least 5 years of experience developing APIs with GraphQL or REST.
