Role Overview
Lead Infrastructure Engineer responsible for reliability, operational excellence, automation, and service resiliency across Workplace Technology.
The role provides technical leadership for enterprise services supporting employees' work, collaboration, and communication globally.
The Workplace Technology portfolio includes Microsoft 365, endpoint management, software distribution, PC lifecycle management, workplace compute, security, and regulatory services.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead reliability and operational support for globally used Workplace Technology platforms.
- Adopt SRE practices including service health monitoring, SLOs, SLIs, and operational metrics.
- Coordinate major incident response and recovery to restore services and minimize business impact.
- Lead root cause analysis and continuous improvement to prevent recurring issues.
- Drive automation, self-healing capabilities, and process simplification.
- Build observability using monitoring, telemetry, logging, and user experience insights.
- Partner on platform modernization, cloud adoption, resiliency, and operational readiness.
- Establish governance, risk controls, compliance practices, and service management.
- Lead capacity, availability, and performance management.
