Role Overview
Lead Infrastructure Engineer within the Infrastructure Platforms team, combining software, infrastructure, and systems engineering to solve operations problems.
The role focuses on optimizing existing systems, building infrastructure, and reducing manual work through automation.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver secure, resilient, self-healing network instrumentation platforms and integrate packet broker and analytics technologies.
- Architect and evolve high-availability packet aggregation and analytics services with Network Operations and Cybersecurity.
- Lead automation, certification, and lifecycle management for enterprise monitoring platforms.
- Analyze, test, and certify packet and flow monitoring appliances and software for performance, security, and compliance.
- Install, productionize, and support packet and flow monitoring devices using approved procedures and runbooks.
- Execute product and code upgrades under change and release management guidelines.
- Translate customer requirements into scalable instrumentation solutions and collaborate on fixes and design changes.
- Coach, mentor, and when applicable manage engineers in design, automation, and SCRUM delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Formal training or certification in infrastructure engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
