About the Role
The Lead Industrial Engineer will drive manufacturing excellence by optimizing processes, implementing automation, and enhancing productivity.
The role involves conducting motion and time studies, capacity planning, and supporting new product introductions.
The position is based in Bengaluru and offers relocation assistance.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Analyze manufacturing processes to identify bottlenecks and implement solutions that improve productivity, efficiency, and manufacturing flow.
- Conduct motion studies, time studies, work measurement, and method engineering activities to establish accurate production standards and optimize manufacturing operations.
- Lead process optimization initiatives by eliminating non-value-added activities, improving cycle times, and enhancing overall equipment and labor utilization.
- Perform manufacturing capacity planning and line balancing to support production planning and maximize throughput.
- Design and optimize manufacturing layouts, workstations, and production lines to improve workflow and operational efficiency.
- Support new product introduction (NPI) activities by providing Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and manufacturing process optimization expertise.
- Drive Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and Six Sigma initiatives to improve productivity, reduce waste, and support operational excellence.
- Lead manufacturing digitization and Industry 4.0 initiatives, including automated data collection, AI-enabled inspection systems, and smart manufacturing solutions.
