The role partners with leadership on workforce strategy, organization design, talent, performance, learning, change, and people analytics.
Strategic Partnership and AI Readiness
- Align workforce strategy with business goals and technology roadmaps.
- Guide organization design and headcount planning as roles evolve toward AI-assisted development and automated workflows.
- Drive people initiatives that support high performance, business agility, and team culture.
Talent and Role Evolution
- Collaborate with talent acquisition to attract and hire technical and product talent.
- Adapt hiring criteria and role architectures as technical skills evolve.
- Facilitate succession planning, internal mobility, and career pathways across engineering and product disciplines.
Coaching and Performance
- Coach managers and leaders on team management, empathy, decision-making, and leadership capability.
- Mentor employees, resolve workplace conflicts, and foster open communication and trust.
- Guide goal setting, feedback cycles, performance evaluations, and fair accountability measures.
Learning and Change
- Identify skill gaps across technology teams and deploy targeted training programs.
- Support upskilling so engineers and product managers can use modern developer tools and AI capabilities.
- Lead people initiatives during organizational changes, team realignments, growth phases, and technical transitions.
HR Metrics and People Analytics
- Use HR metrics, reporting platforms, and data analytics to inform decisions and track program success.
- Monitor turnover, engagement trends, hiring velocity, and capability ramp-up.
- Deliver data-backed insights to improve retention strategies and people operations.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Master’s degree is preferred.
- At least 8 years of HRBP experience directly supporting Technology and Product organizations.
- Experience in executive coaching, talent management, change management, and organizational design.
- Hands-on HRIS, workplace software, and data or analytics tools experience.
- Working familiarity with modern software product cycles and emerging technology or AI impacts on developer roles.
