Role overview

What you will do

• Drive squad execution of deliverables while maintaining high engineering standards.
• Design and implement robust backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and maintain Angular frontend functionality connected to backend logic.
• Lead the transition from database-centric designs to domain-driven structures with strong bounded contexts.
• Architect RESTful APIs using proper HTTP verbs and scalable patterns.
• Motivate and mentor junior developers and help them grow.
• Advocate for best practices and architectural integrity.

Required qualifications

• Proven experience as a Tech Lead or Squad Lead with a record of motivating teams and mentoring junior developers.
• Advanced Java and Spring Boot proficiency, solid Angular knowledge, and at least 6 years of experience.
• Hands-on Kafka experience.
• Strong object-oriented analysis and design, software design patterns, and architectural pattern awareness.
• Deep practical experience with domain-driven design and bounded contexts.
• Deep experience building and consuming RESTful services and understanding standard API protocols.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Oracle, and JPA/Hibernate.
• Upper-intermediate English proficiency.

Preferred experience

• Experience with spec-driven development or AI-driven software development is advantageous.
• Previous experience in loyalty or fintech sectors is advantageous.
• Experience with AWS or Azure and Docker is advantageous.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins or GitLab CI is advantageous.
• Experience refactoring legacy structures into modern domain-driven architectures is advantageous.
