About the Role

What You Will Do

• Act as Squad Lead and drive delivery while maintaining high engineering standards.
• Design and implement backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and maintain the supporting Angular frontend.
• Lead the transition to domain-driven design with strong bounded contexts.
• Architect clean, scalable RESTful APIs using standard HTTP verbs.
• Apply agile practices, motivate the team, mentor junior developers, and support their growth.

Must Have

• Proven experience as a Tech Lead or Squad Lead, including team motivation and mentoring.
• Advanced Java and Spring Boot proficiency with solid Angular knowledge and at least six years of experience.
• Hands-on Kafka experience.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented analysis and design, design patterns, and architectural patterns.
• Deep practical experience with domain-driven design and bounded contexts.
• Deep experience building and consuming RESTful services.
• Experience with PostgreSQL or Oracle and JPA/Hibernate.
• Upper-intermediate English proficiency.

Nice to Have

• Experience with spec-driven or AI-driven software development lifecycle practices.
• Previous experience in loyalty or fintech.
• Experience with AWS or Azure and Docker.
• Knowledge of Jenkins or GitLab CI pipelines.
• Experience refactoring legacy structures into modern domain-driven architectures.
