Job Description:

The Role

Ready to shape mobile experiences that make investing simpler, more accessible, and more engaging for customers? As a hands-on Lead Full Stack Engineer on the Plynk Technology team, you will be building customer-focused app capabilities, leading high-quality engineering practices, and helping deliver technology that supports Fidelity’s mission of making financial expertise broadly accessible! Bring your technical leadership, product mindset, and passion for mentoring others to a team that values innovation, learning, and measurable customer impact.

You will be responsible for:

Leading the delivery of high-impact mobile app features and enhancements that simplify investing and improve customer experience.

Collaborating with product owners, architects, developers, and application teams to translate customer needs into secure, reliable, and maintainable solutions.

Partnering with UX/UI designers to convert experience designs into intuitive, accessible, and production-ready mobile screens.

Designing and building scalable, resilient API capabilities that power core Plynk experiences.

Mentoring engineers and promoting strong engineering practices, including code quality, automation, maintainability, and continuous improvement.

Improving delivery quality by supporting test automation, release readiness, and production health across frequent app changes.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

You bring strong front-end engineering experience with a focus on building scalable, maintainable user interfaces using Angular, HTML, and CSS. You are comfortable applying object-oriented programming principles, design patterns, and modern Angular capabilities such as state management with ngRx and signal-based stores to deliver high-quality digital experiences.

Your background includes developing responsive web and mobile applications, with exposure to iOS and Android delivery through hybrid frameworks such as Ionic, Capacitor, or Cordova. You understand how to integrate applications with APIs and RESTful services, and you can contribute to secure, cloud-aware engineering practices across the software delivery lifecycle.

You are familiar with modern delivery practices, including CI/CD, automated quality checks, and DevOps ways. Experience with tools such as Jenkins, Artifactory, Sonar or equivalent code quality platforms, and test automation frameworks such as Playwright will help you be effective in this role.

You communicate technical concepts clearly, collaborate effectively with teams across locations and time zones, and demonstrate the ability to take initiative while working through ambiguity. You value shared ownership, thoughtful problem solving, and practical delivery practices that support reliable outcomes.

Education and Experience

B.E. or above in Computer Science or related field

Minimum of 6 years in end-to-end design, development and delivery of front-end applications and platforms

Knowledge of financial services and brokerage operations technology systems preferred
