Role overview
Lead electrical field engineering and supervision for a major development project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The role covers complex electrical systems across large buildings, convention centers, hotels, resorts, and mixed-use developments.
The engineer works with the Resident Engineer, Construction Manager, MEP teams, contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Lead electrical site engineering and inspection activities throughout project execution.
- Review construction works, drawings, specifications, codes, schedules, and contractual requirements.
- Coordinate engineers, inspectors, consultants, contractors, and interfaces with other disciplines.
- Review shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, RFIs, technical queries, and design clarifications.
- Monitor power distribution, substations, transformers, switchgear, generators, UPS, lighting, grounding, lightning protection, and ELV systems.
- Conduct inspections, quality audits, FAT, SAT, testing, commissioning, snagging, de-snagging, operational readiness, and handover.
- Manage technical risks, non-conformance reports, corrective actions, punch-list items, progress measurement, payment certification, and reporting.
- Mentor junior electrical engineers and inspectors.
