Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation of detailed cost estimates for Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, and EPC projects
- Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and scope of work to develop accurate estimates
- Prepare quantity take offs, cost breakdowns, and pricing analysis
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and project teams to collect required inputs
- Analyze project requirements, risks, and cost impacts
- Prepare commercial and technical bid submissions
- Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations
- Develop cost estimation strategies and improve estimation processes
- Maintain estimation databases, cost references, and historical project data
- Provide support during tender negotiations and project handover
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 8–12 years of experience in estimation, cost engineering, or tendering roles
- Proven experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refinery, or EPC projects
- Strong knowledge of mechanical works, piping, equipment installation, fabrication, and construction activities
- Experience with preparing estimates for large scale industrial projects
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
- Proficiency in estimation software and MS Office applications
