Role Purpose
Lead and support enterprise-wide risk management practices across capital and major projects within the PMO.
Proactively identify, assess, mitigate, and report project risks to improve decision-making, project certainty, and resilience.
Key Accountabilities
- Implement risk management frameworks, methodologies, and tools for capital and major projects.
- Facilitate risk identification and assessment workshops with project teams, consultants, and contractors.
- Develop and maintain qualitative and quantitative risk registers.
- Perform risk analysis, including Monte Carlo simulations, for schedule and cost impacts.
- Integrate risk data into project controls and performance reporting.
- Track risk responses and mitigation plans.
- Prepare risk reports and dashboards for governance, leadership, and audits.
- Collaborate with project managers, planners, cost controllers, and stakeholders.
- Align project risk practices with corporate policies and frameworks.
- Support lessons learned, knowledge sharing, training, stage gate reviews, assurance, and audits.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- Risk management certification such as PMI-RMP, MoR, or equivalent is preferred.
