Lead Engineer- Azure Cloud & DevOps

We're looking for a Lead Engineer across Cloud & DevOps who's done the hard yards technically, knows how to bring a team with them, and is ready to have a real impact on how we deliver for our clients.

What you'll own

• Lead and mentor a team of cloud and DevOps engineers so that means setting the bar, building capability and fostering a culture of ownership and client empathy
• Drive technical client engagements across architecture design, strategy, maturity assessments and Azure cloud delivery
• Design and implement scalable, secure and reliable Azure solutions that solve real client problems... not just tick boxes
• Identify growth opportunities within existing clients and bring forward value creation initiatives that make a commercial difference
• Partner with pre-sales to shape solutions, scope engagements and contribute to winning work
• Run workshops, cloud adoption sessions and executive-level presentations with confidence
• Play an active role in hiring and building the team around you

What you bring

You're a technically deep Azure engineer who has led people and loves doing both.

You're commercially aware, client-focused and never too senior to get hands on when it matters.

You spot gaps before anyone asks you to and you do something about them.

Technically you bring deep experience across:

• Azure IaaS, PaaS and SaaS across networking, security, IAM and RBAC design
• IaC: Terraform, ARM Templates, Azure Resource Manager
• Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, automation, and pipeline engineering
• Containers and orchestration: Kubernetes (AKS)
• Azure security — Security Centre, Key Vault, identity, governance and compliance
• Scripting — PowerShell module creation and management
• Azure integration — Microservices, Azure Functions, Event-driven architecture

Microsoft Azure certifications are a strong plus.

You must be an Australian Citizen with NV1 security clearance or the ability to obtain it.
