Lead Data Analyst

About the Role

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed data analysis, profiling, and discovery across multiple source systems.
• Develop and maintain source-to-target mapping documents for migration, integration, transformation, and reporting initiatives.
• Translate business requirements into data transformation rules, mapping specifications, and technical requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, architects, and engineering teams to define solutions and identify gaps.
• Conduct data validation, reconciliation, impact analysis, and quality assessments across enterprise platforms.

Work Model

• This is a remote position open to qualified applicants in the United States.
• Occasional travel may be required for client meetings, workshops, or project-related activities.
• Working arrangements may change based on project and business requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in data analysis, data mapping, data warehousing, data management, or related disciplines.
• Extensive source-to-target mapping documentation experience.
• Strong hands-on SQL expertise for extraction, profiling, validation, reconciliation, and analysis.
• Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, Python, and Erwin.
• Experience with relational databases, dimensional modeling, enterprise data warehousing, and large-scale transformation or migration programs.
• Ability to translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications and mapping artifacts.
• Strong analytical, communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in insurance, financial services, healthcare, or another regulated industry.
• Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with ETL/ELT tools, modern data integration frameworks, Power BI, or Tableau.
• Understanding of data governance, metadata management, data stewardship, and enterprise data architecture practices.
• Experience creating data dictionaries, metadata repositories, and business glossaries.

Salary and Other Compensation

• The anticipated annual salary is $105,000 to $125,000, depending on experience, qualifications, geographic location, skills, and other job-related factors.
• The position is eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program based on performance and applicable plan terms.
