Role Overview
Parsons is seeking a Lead Civil Engineer, also described as a Civil and Structural Lead, for an airport infrastructure programme.
The role oversees civil and structural engineering activities, leads design teams, and coordinates multidisciplinary delivery.
Design Leadership
- Lead civil and structural design for terminals, runways, pavements, bridges, utilities, and other airport infrastructure.
- Oversee drawings, specifications, calculations, temporary works, permanent structures, and integration with architecture and other disciplines.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to civil and structural engineers.
Safety and Technical Coordination
- Ensure structural designs are safe, resilient, durable, and compliant with operational and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct risk assessments and oversee analysis of critical airport structures and infrastructure.
- Coordinate civil, structural, electrical, mechanical, transportation, environmental, and architectural design activities.
Project and Compliance Oversight
- Manage schedules, budgets, progress, quality, consultants, contractors, and corrective actions.
