Overview
Lead Business Analyst within the Platform Strategy & Solutions team at Canada Life.
Analyze business needs, define requirements, and author user stories for the Intelligent Intake and Workflow (IIW) platform.
Collaborate with stakeholders, technology teams, and cross-functional partners to ensure business objectives are met.
Work in an ambiguous and evolving environment, proactively identifying opportunities and bringing structure to complex challenges.
Responsibilities
- Lead the gathering, analysis, and documentation of business requirements with a focus on IIW solutions.
- Author user stories and work with Technical Developers to groom, refine and prioritize into logical components.
- Define and document business rules, and decision logic to support automated processes.
- Collaborate with business and IT teams to ensure seamless integration of IDP, workflow and automation.
- Evaluate existing processes and recommend enhancements, optimizations, and new automation opportunities.
- Conduct impact assessments & risk analysis for new automation opportunities.
- Support governance, compliance, and audit requirements for intake and workflow.
- Participate in Scrum ceremonies, lead user acceptance testing and business exploration of new solutions.
