Role Overview
The role focuses on designing, building, and maintaining high-quality analytical data models for dashboards, reports, and decision-support solutions.
The BI and Data Modeler Specialist creates reusable, scalable, and governed models that support BI and analytics workflows.
The role works with BI developers, data engineers, and analysts to deliver robust datasets for reliable reporting and analytics.
Experience
- 3–6 years of experience in BI, data modeling, or analytics engineering roles.
- Experience designing, building, or maintaining analytical or dimensional data models.
- Exposure to enterprise-scale BI, data warehouse, or analytics environments is preferred.
- Experience building and managing Power BI shared datasets and semantic models in a governed environment.
Technical Skills
- Hands-on experience with Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or an equivalent BI platform.
- Strong SQL skills for data modeling, querying, and validation.
- Familiarity with ETL/ELT processes and integration with data pipelines.
- Knowledge of performance optimization for large datasets and complex models.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain high-quality analytical data models.
- Create reusable, scalable, and governed data models for BI and analytics workflows.
- Support dashboards, reports, and decision-support solutions with robust analytical datasets.
- Ensure consistency, performance, and alignment with enterprise data standards.
- Build and manage Power BI shared datasets and semantic models in a governed environment.
- Work closely with BI developers, data engineers, and analysts to deliver reliable reporting and analytics datasets.
