Role overview
REACH Energy is seeking a Principal AI Product Engineer with end-to-end AI product engineering experience.
The role spans AI and LLM systems, backend services, APIs, frontend applications, architecture, technical leadership, and hands-on coding.
The advertised level is Principal or Individual Contributor and the stated location is Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Key requirements
- At least 12 years of software engineering experience at Staff or Principal level.
- Strong Python and production LLM or generative AI experience.
- Hands-on RAG, retrieval pipeline, and AI agent workflow experience.
- Strong React or Next.js experience.
- Backend experience with Python, Java or Kotlin, or Node.js.
- Experience with REST APIs, PostgreSQL, and SSE or WebSockets.
- Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, or similar frameworks.
- Azure, Docker, and CI/CD experience.
- Proven delivery of production AI-powered products.
- Strong architecture, technical leadership, and hands-on coding experience.
- Codex, Claude Code, OpenCode, or similar AI coding-agent experience is highly important.
- Arabic or bilingual AI experience and government or highly regulated environment experience are preferred.
