Role Overview

Build production AI platform capabilities that transform building, project, asset, and operational data into reusable solutions.

Serve as a lead individual contributor through architecture, hands-on implementation, pattern-setting, and ownership of production outcomes.

Partner with business, technology, security, and operations stakeholders to create governed AI capabilities.

Locations

  • The role may be based in Denver, San Francisco, Phoenix, Chicago, or Dallas, with other Prologis office locations potentially considered.
  • The description later identifies Denver, Colorado as the location and lists Chicago, Dallas, Phoenix, and San Francisco as additional locations.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement production AI platform capabilities, including agents, retrieval-augmented generation, tool calling, workflow orchestration, evaluation, and human review.
  • Build an AI-native building knowledge platform linking models, assets, documents, telemetry, and operational context.
  • Develop multimodal data pipelines for BIM, Autodesk, geospatial, document, and operational data.
  • Deliver AI workflows for design, construction, commissioning, building operations, sustainment, and reinvestment.
  • Move solutions from prototype through pilot and production with governance, documentation, evaluation, observability, and operational readiness.
  • Establish reusable engineering patterns for scaling successful pilots into enterprise platforms.
  • Partner with stakeholders to define workflows, technical scope, implementation plans, rollout approaches, and improvements.

Required Qualifications

  • At least 6 years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, data engineering, applied AI, automation, technology consulting, or related technical delivery.
  • Experience building or maintaining AI-assisted workflows, large language model applications, or agentic systems for business use cases.
  • Experience translating ambiguous business materials and stakeholder feedback into structured, testable, governed solutions.
  • Experience leading discovery, workflow mapping, technical scoping, implementation, rollout, and post-launch iteration.
  • Ability to apply context engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, semantic layers, tool calling, structured outputs, orchestration, evaluation, and human review.
  • Programming or scripting capability in Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, or a comparable language.
  • Experience integrating APIs, SaaS platforms, data sources, workflow tools, and enterprise systems.
  • Ability to communicate technical decisions, risks, and outcomes to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with agent frameworks or orchestration platforms such as OpenAI Agents SDK, LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, MCP, AutoGen, CrewAI, or n8n.
  • Experience with Autodesk platforms, BIM, geospatial systems, reality capture, simulation platforms, or digital twins.
  • Experience with AWS IoT, AWS Lambda, event-driven or serverless architectures, streaming telemetry, or cloud-native operational data platforms.
  • Experience with building lifecycle systems, operational technology, asset management, estimating, bid management, project controls, or field support.
  • Experience with knowledge graphs, entity resolution, ontologies, vector databases, Snowflake, data lakes, semantic layers, or BI and reporting.

Compensation

  • Hiring salary range is $147,000 to $202,000, with total compensation including a bonus target determined by location, education, experience, skills, and market alignment.

Benefits

  • Full-time US roles include healthcare, dental, vision insurance, a company-matched 401(k), paid time off, paid holidays, and volunteer time.
