Director, Data Center Power Procurement

7+ years of electric utility experience in transmission planning, substation development or engineering, distribution system planning, interconnection of large-load projects, or independent power producers.

Experience analyzing energy projects.

Experience negotiating interconnection agreements and related contracts with utilities and contractors.

Experience working on grid-connected projects in one or more of the following regions: UK, France, Spain, Italy, Germany, Poland, or the Nordics.

Ability to travel up to 40% of the time.

Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience in engineering, applied science, economics, statistics, or another quantitative discipline.

Experience with European power markets and country-specific regulations, including German, Polish, or Nordic power markets.

Experience negotiating tariff rates, power purchase agreements, and/or energy infrastructure contracts and evaluating new energy sourcing opportunities or technologies.

Familiarity with cable routing, permitting or entitlement processes, data center development, and TSO/DNO operations across European markets.

Working proficiency in English and additionally one or more European languages.

Demonstrates willingness and capability to leverage emerging technology, automation, and AI tools to improve efficiency, quality, and speed. Exercises sound judgment, creative thinking, and accountability for outcomes.
