Job summary
Join the global RTC team to support shared services and technical activities for customers including Volvo and VCC.
Operate standard z/OS application hosting services for IT Services and external business customers.
Steer technical service maintenance plans, runtime quality, communication, lifecycle implementation, and continuous improvement.
Principal responsibilities
- Plan performance and report software system upgrades and configuration changes.
- Automate operations, run installation jobs and scripts, and perform installation-specific customization.
- Integration-test new products with existing applications and user procedures.
- Maintain z/OS system products, investigate performance problems, and manage product lifecycles.
- Handle incidents, changes, and requests through ITSM and ITIL processes.
- Deliver end-to-end services according to agreed runtime service levels and manage day-to-day operational quality.
- Receive services from Service Transition for rollout and operational use.
Specific service areas
- Support supervision tools, performance, cost control, reporting, statistics, and charging through common logging.
