Role Overview
Laundry Driver responsible for safe and timely collection and delivery of laundry for retail and commercial customers.
The role involves customer service, laundry handling, route delivery, documentation, and support for laundry operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect dirty laundry, uniforms, linens, and textile items from customers and commercial clients.
- Deliver clean and processed laundry accurately and on schedule.
- Load, unload, and handle laundry bags, linen, and garments to prevent damage or loss.
- Check quantities and document items during collection and delivery.
- Maintain customer relationships and provide professional customer service.
- Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules efficiently.
- Keep the company vehicle clean, safe, and properly maintained.
- Complete delivery notes, collection records, invoices, and other required documentation.
- Report missing, damaged, or incorrectly processed items to the supervisor.
- Follow hygiene, safety, and laundry-handling procedures.
- Assist with sorting, packing, loading, and unloading when required.
- Handle customer orders carefully and deliver them in good condition.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Laundry Driver, Delivery Driver, or in a similar role.
