- Collect, sort, and label laundry items according to fabric type, color, and washing instructions
- Operate washing machines, dryers, ironing, and pressing equipment safely and efficiently
- Wash, dry, iron, fold, and package garments, linens, towels, and uniforms
- Inspect items for stains, damage, or special care requirements
- Apply stain removal techniques as needed
- Ensure all laundry is processed and delivered within required timeframes
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area
- Monitor laundry supplies and report shortages
- Follow proper hygiene standards and safety guidelines
- Report any faulty equipment or safety hazards immediately
Requirements
- Previous experience in laundry, housekeeping, or hotel/hospital environment is an advantage
- Basic knowledge of fabric care, washing techniques, and stain removal
- Ability to operate laundry machines and ironing equipment
- Physically fit and able to lift and carry laundry items
- Good attention to detail and time management skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or in a team
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and holidays if required

About the Role
- We are looking for a dedicated and detail oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team and ensure a high standard of cleanliness, proper handling of garments, and efficient processing of all laundry items, including washing, drying, ironing, and folding in accordance with company standards.
Responsibilities
- Collect, sort, and label laundry items according to fabric type, color, and washing instructions
- Operate washing machines, dryers, ironing, and pressing equipment safely and efficiently

Safety & Sanitation

- Dispose of waste materials properly and maintain a sanitary work environment
- Report any faulty equipment or safety hazards immediately
Qualifications
