Responsibilities
- Supervise hotel grounds to ensure a pleasant appearance
- Maintain the appearance of fountains, planters, and other grounds features through cleaning, replacement, or repair
- Plant new flowers, bulbs, grass, trees, and shrubs
- Maintain flower beds, baskets, and boxes by watering, weeding, pruning, and other maintenance tasks
- Replace and transplant trees, flowers, and shrubs
- Prune trees and shrubs
- Trim grass edges in areas where the mower cannot reach
- Mow and edge lawns, rake leaves, and perform other lawn maintenance tasks
- Install, maintain, and operate irrigation systems
- Remove and bag trash from all outdoor trash cans
- Drive dump trucks, tractors, trucks, or utility vehicles to transport equipment, supplies, materials, and waste
- Wash, clean, and refuel all equipment after use
Requirements
- At least 1 year of related work experience
- Valid driver's license
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for prolonged periods
- Ability to visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines
- Ability to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of various sizes and weights
- Ability to reach overhead and below knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
- Ability to move across inclined, uneven, or slippery surfaces and stairs
- Ability to climb ladders

Qualifications
