Role Overview
AECOM is seeking a Landscape Architect for its Urbanism + Planning studio in the United Arab Emirates.
The role covers landscape design and implementation from concept through completion for residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects.
The position involves collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and contractors to deliver functional, sustainable outdoor spaces.
Responsibilities
- Develop landscape design concepts and master plans for residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects.
- Conduct site analysis and feasibility studies covering climate, soil, water management, and local environmental factors.
- Create technical drawings, specifications, and construction documentation.
- Manage design development from initial concept through final construction documents.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other design professionals.
- Incorporate water conservation, native plantings, and climate-responsive design strategies.
- Present design proposals to clients and refine concepts through feedback.
- Coordinate contractors, conduct site inspections, and maintain quality standards during implementation.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.
- Stay current with industry trends, innovations, and UAE landscape architecture regulations.
