Role Overview

Survey Supervision and Verification

• Supervise Parsons' survey team and review contractor survey work for accuracy and project compliance.
• Verify control points, benchmarks, reference coordinates, approved project datum, and grid systems.
• Check contractor setting-out for alignments, levels, coordinates, and dimensions across project works.
• Conduct independent surveys to confirm constructed works meet approved drawings and tolerances.
• Review survey reports, layout drawings, as-built surveys, and topographic surveys.

Coordination and Records

• Identify discrepancies between design drawings and site conditions and support resolution of setting-out issues.
• Coordinate survey activities with roads, structures, utilities, hardscape, and landscape disciplines.
• Maintain, calibrate, and safeguard total stations, GPS/GNSS, levels, laser instruments, and related equipment.
• Maintain digital and hard-copy records of survey data, field notes, and as-built information.
• Support earthwork quantities, volumetric calculations, progress meetings, and survey-related recommendations.
• Assist with as-built drawings and final survey records for client and authority handover.
• Carry out survey activities in accordance with HSE requirements, safe work practices, and quality procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Surveying Engineering from a recognized institution.
• Experience in land or engineering surveying on large-scale infrastructure, public realm, or urban development projects, including several years in a senior or lead surveyor role.
• Strong proficiency with total stations, GPS/GNSS, digital levels, and survey data processing tools.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Understanding of surveying principles, coordinate systems, leveling, and construction setting-out.
• Experience in site-based construction supervision and verification of contractor setting-out and as-built data.
• Ability to interpret engineering, architectural, and utility drawings for field layouts.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, communication, coordination, and record-keeping.
• Experience in Saudi Arabia or the GCC region is preferred.
