Role overview
RNT Maclaren Industries is seeking an experienced Land Surveyor to join its project team.
Job responsibilities
- Carry out land, topographic, setting-out, and as-built surveys for construction projects.
- Establish survey control points, benchmarks, grids, coordinates, and reference levels.
- Perform setting-out of building lines, levels, coordinates, and project elements.
- Verify site measurements and required tolerances.
- Prepare survey reports, sketches, records, and as-built information.
- Prepare and update survey and as-built drawings using AutoCAD.
- Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, consultants, and project teams.
- Maintain Total Station and other surveying instruments and equipment.
- Help resolve discrepancies between drawings and actual site conditions.
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience as a Land Surveyor.
- Strong experience in construction and site surveying work.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Proficiency with Total Station, Auto Level, GPS/GNSS, and related surveying equipment.
- Ability to interpret architectural, structural, and civil drawings.
- Knowledge of coordinates, elevations, setting-out, benchmarks, and as-built surveys.
- Strong attention to accuracy and detail.
- Good communication and site coordination skills.
