General maintenance of facility including but not limited to sweeping, shoveling, painting, outdoor maintenance such as picking up litter, landscaping, etc.
Excellent housekeeping habits always keeping the assigned work area clean.
Ensure compliance with Company safety and food safety rules by self and others. Wears proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs) as required in fulfillment of assigned responsibilities.
Assist all departments with tasks as needed.
All other duties as assigned.
Previous work experience in an industrial environment is preferred.
Must have a Grade 12 diploma or equivalent.
Must be able to withstand extended periods of walking and standing.
Must be able to move, lift, push, pull and grasp manufacturing materials, products and equipment of 50 lbs or more, which may require regular bending and crouching.
Able to thrive and work in diverse, challenging and changing environments, including hot/cold outdoors/indoors, varying degrees of dirt, dust, odor, sound, etc.
Able to follow written and verbal instructions.
Well-organized, self-motivated and action oriented.
Committed to working safely, efficiently and effectively within a team environment.
Must possess a passion for the agriculture industry, and ambitious to grow with a company.
