• Frequently stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, reach, crouch, crawl, and perform repetitive physical activities.
• Repeatedly lift and carry materials or equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Perform physically demanding construction work for extended periods.
• Work outdoors in varying weather, terrain, and site conditions.
• Work near moving vehicles, mechanical equipment, noise, dust, vibration, mud, heat, cold, and other construction-site conditions.
• Work in potentially contaminated or regulated environments while following required protective measures.
• Wear required personal protective equipment, including respiratory protection when applicable.
• Work early mornings, extended shifts, or varying schedules when required by project conditions.

• Previous construction, environmental remediation, demolition, stormwater, or infrastructure experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
• Experience operating construction vehicles or equipment.
• Familiarity with construction hand tools and power tools.
• Mechanical aptitude and practical problem-solving skills.
• Current industry-related licenses, certifications, or training.

AEC will provide position-specific training as needed after hire.

Preference may be given to candidates who currently hold one or more of the following:

• 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification and c urrent 8-Hour HAZWOPER Refresher

• OSHA 10-Hour or 30-Hour Construction Outreach training
• First Aid, CPR, and AED certification
• Confined Space Entry training
• Current respirator medical clearance and fit testing
• Forklift, telehandler, or aerial-lift certification
