• Willingness and ability to travel throughout Oregon and Washington, including overnight and extended out-of-area assignments.

• Frequently stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, reach, and perform repetitive physical activities.
• Repeatedly lift and carry materials or equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Perform physically demanding construction work for extended periods.

• Work in confined spaces after completing the required training and authorization.
• Wear required personal protective equipment, including respiratory protection when applicable.
• Work early mornings, extended shifts, or varying schedules when required by project conditions.

• Previous construction, fuel-system, mechanical piping, or environmental field experience.
• Knowledge of (or a willing interest in) fuel-system installation procedures, including: Primary and secondary fuel lines and containment systems Fuel sumps and dispenser installations Tank setting and fuel turbines
• Primary and secondary fuel lines and containment systems
• Fuel sumps and dispenser installations
• Tank setting and fuel turbines
• Experience working with mechanical piping systems.
• Familiarity with construction hand tools and power tools.
• Mechanical aptitude and practical problem-solving skills.
• Current industry-related licenses, certifications, or training.

AEC will provide position-specific training as needed after hire.

Preference may be given to candidates who currently hold one or more of the following:

• 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification and 8 hour refresher
• Confined Space Entry training
• Current respirator medical clearance and fit testing
• First Aid and CPR certification
• Forklift or other equipment-operation certification
