Role Overview
The Laboratory Analyst conducts laboratory testing, sample analysis, quality checks, and documentation in accordance with established procedures and industry standards.
The role supports quality control, product testing, laboratory operations, and accurate reporting of analytical results.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine testing and analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, finished products, and assigned specimens.
- Prepare, label, handle, and store laboratory samples according to established procedures.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments and analytical equipment.
- Conduct chemical, physical, and analytical tests using approved laboratory methods.
- Record, verify, and analyze laboratory test results accurately and efficiently.
- Identify abnormal results, deviations, and potential quality issues and escalate them appropriately.
- Prepare reports, test results, certificates, and other required laboratory documentation.
- Comply with laboratory procedures, quality standards, and safety requirements.
- Perform equipment checks, calibration verification, and basic troubleshooting.
- Maintain laboratory records, databases, and documentation for traceability.
- Support quality control investigations and root-cause analysis when testing issues occur.
- Assist with method validation, verification, and improvement activities when required.
